I hear you! I have brought this up multiple times and ask to freeze the design , but they never listen and they do their own thing and the worst part is that product is a partner in crime. They always support UX folks. It's so frustrating when they call it a defect!!

I refuse to work on UI bugs that do not include screenshots annotated to show the exact perceived problems
