I just had claude write me a statusline:

Shows the 5h and weekly usage %, when it resets, current model, estimated spend in the session, context used, cwd and project.
Save it in .claude/ and then add a snippet to settings.json:

It's so sad that this is necessary. Why can't Anthropic get the UX of metering right?
What is tough about /usage or settings usage?
It's on a different page. Just show me a progress bar of 1 or 2 pixels wide in or around the prompt input box.
You can definitely do this by customizing the Claude status bar (in Claude-Glas). Just call `/status-bar` with the stuff you want to displayed.
Mine Shows: Model, effort, output mode, context window percentage, 5h window with reset, weekly window with reset, ...
