Ahh just noticed it's made by graemeg, one of FPC long time contributors.
Many years ago I explored his fpGUI:

Nice to see you are not only limited to Lazarus
Interesting project! It is the first time I am hearing of it. I understand that the LSP support is in progress. It would be great if an IDE similar to Delphi could be developed as well - but I know that is a HUGE ask.
As usual, another release post with no mention of what the damn thing is.
