yeah people have been talking about this for a few weeks. Spacex is the only unallocated nvidia gpu's on earth, anthropic is going through a crisis due to lack of compute.
It would have been a huge black mark on the record of both if they couldn't manage to put the deal together.
Plenty of people paying the grok $300/month fee almost exclusively to generate high quality soft porn videos. I’ve “tested” it myself during a trial period and boy is it good.

... well and they want to twist whatever knives they have in oAI -- if they can help the competition with their silly over-spend more the better.
Maybe this is how xAI gets to that outlandish valuation included in the IPO numbers.
