Before all the "instant" messaging apps we have now, it was extremely common to use email as some kind of a messaging app.
I have much more than 500 emails exchanged with my brother. Don't know the exact number as I'd need to unarchive very old email folders but... What I do know is that I have way more than 5000 messages exchanged with my brother in Telegram.
Now, granted, it's with my brother and that's since we've had the Internet in the 90s.
Note that it's not too clear why Musk is singled out for as I understand it he eventually declined going to Epstein's island.

You saw that graph and the last line is the one that you wanted to comment on, not the 11,000 emails one at the top or the 8 others with more than 500 emails?

Epstein was an influential billionaire and knew almost everyone that was wealthy. If an email is all it takes, should we find out how many times Obama met with evil dictators?
I'm more interested in actual proof of wrong-doing, instead of the witch hunts that have now been bleeding over into HN discussions. This is why the DOJ didn't want to release these.
Low IQ people try to make connections that just aren't there and use it for a political weapon. If someone gets killed over these one day, the people spreading this garbage (including news outlets) should be held accountable.
