I wonder what the benefit really is. Things are so early in AI, that I feel like anything in the “generative engine optimization” world (the phrase used by Semrush) is going to be obsolete soon and a new approach will be necessary. So does it really make sense for Adobe to acquire here? Or is it just about getting talent into Adobe quickly?
Semrush is the third or fourth largest database of collected internet knowledge including links ctc cta etc. combined with select business inputs
Any B2B company would immensely see value out of it immediately after acquiring
After Figma, Canva's Affinity deal, and Creator Backlash for Cancellation charges, Adobe needs a win to show for and increase investor confidence, that's what this is
