Train has been running since then without issue. Totaling around 3000 KM.
First driverless train? A subway train line in milan had driverless trains for like a decade now.
Lyon's had one for 30 years but I wouldn't classify subways and trains as the same thing.
I presume trains above ground have more likelihood of something unexpected on the tracks, and less control over the environment.
It has couches, it runs on metallic rails. Looks like a train to me.
It's the stuff that might cross the rails that matters, not the inside.
