I do wonder what it must feel like to be a Cloudflare AE, with the company continually removing enterprise selling points by giving things away. Great for consumers, not so much for the bottom line, or commission cheques
In many ways yes, but there are pushes in the other direction, Cloudflare for many years tried to shame AWS regarding egress fees, even went as far as to establish a bandwidth alliance with the poorer hyperscalers, loads of press etc.. For containers they are basically adopting the same fees though.
Love to see it. Especially locking out security features like SSO behind enterprise-talk-to-sales paywalls is basically extortion and hopefully a practise that will go away someday… but as long as the fuck-you-pay-me mentality exists, I don’t think they will.

I love this, I used to have a policy of not doing business with companies that don't publicly display pricing.
